Art Description:
4 men from some ambiguous time in the past studying and admiring prints of some sort. Their goofy expressions lend the feeling that they are up to something...Lately when I paint men I'm compelled to portray them as untrustworthy. Perhaps the cumulative effect of too often seeing people, specifically American men over the past few years as moving backward instead of embracing social progress. I'm not a political painter in fact I see Art as a respite from politics but come on people the U.S. is transforming me into a satirist!
