From an ongoing series of paintings based on analog collage. Combining references sourced from museum catalogs and found photography. These paintings are more formal investigations than social commentary though they can appear laden with the latter. Gender fluidity and the classism implicit in museum artifacts ostensibly jumpstart a controversy and conversation however the work is more about the dialogue between mediums and the mystery which ensues when they are married.
