    Art Description:

The title implies cracking up at a funeral. Complicated or repressed feelings bubbling up in moments of otherwise hushed reverie. The brightly painted words NO SIGNAL disrupt the monochromatic palette and ostensible portrait (based on Jerry Lewis) with signs of potential meaning or interpretation however they are there to redirect and open rather than determine and seal a set meaning. The ginger pot is there to suggest an urn for the ashes of mortal remains. All art is a relic of human activity.

    Medium Used: Oil on Linen

A body of work should not be a cadaver evidencing life that was but rather the flash-point for life which ignites anew on each renewed encounter.
