    Art Description:

I am a self taught painter and in the last 25 years a great of self teaching has played out in the Metropolitan Museum in NYC. The sprawling galleries afford opportunities to study culture from around the globe. This image was made from a panoramic photo I shot in the Egyptian Wing while sketching the Temple of Dendur. My interiors employ literal settings toward metaphoric and meta-fictive purposes. I hope to create set for the viewer to experience external features of light and architecture as instigators of intimacy, interiority and the dreaming mind.

    Medium Used: Oil on Wood

A body of work should not be a cadaver evidencing life that was but rather the flash-point for life which ignites anew on each renewed encounter.
