Nightflares

Art Description:

This is from a series of minimal monochromatic meditations on speed painting. Canvas is stapled to a wall and painted rapidly in a single hue in a single session of adding and subtracting oil paint. An exercise in improvisation to contrast the patient process of planning and crafting paintings over many sessions.
