Mike Walsh has lived and worked on St. Croix since 1976, where he developed a studio gallery and cultivated a prolific body of artwork. Prior to settling on St. Croix, he completed a degree in Fine Arts from Creighton University and worked in various studios in New York and Connecticut.
Mike's artwork has been part of exhibits at the National Academy of Design in New York City, El Museo Moderno de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, the Joslyn Museum of Art in Omaha, Nebraska, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, in addition to shows across the Caribbean, on St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John, U.S.V.I. His sculptures have also been featured in the HBO series The Night Of.
