Art Description:
John Lennon once said, "I've always felt most at home in a riot." My studio practice is diverse with disciplines which include precise drawing, collage and large format film photography. That said, a state of chaos is often the preferred means of relinquishing preconceived plans and orderly strategies as an open invitation to the experimentally ushered unknown. Hegemony Cricket Matchbook is just such an improvisational whoop-tee-doo. Large scale, 5 foot square ready to hang gestural and colorful cartoon cacophony. Alternative photos conjecture the piece with like minded/scaled pieces also available through Artonique; Junior's Farm, That Y'all Went Fishing with Aunt Teebs and Gotta a hook in Y'alls Lip and Nocturnal Atlas.
Medium Used: Oil on Canvas
