    Art Description:

As a kid traveling cross country roadside signs like this were like beacons in the night igniting cravings and pleas to my parents to pull over at the first sight of the donut shop, pizza restaurant or Dairy Queen. In the American Dream sequence I deploy signage as symbols of desire clad in innocence and typographical lyricism. The round tondo format nods to the ocular as the lens of the eye allows circular beams of light.

    Medium Used: Oil on Wood

A body of work should not be a cadaver evidencing life that was but rather the flash-point for life which ignites anew on each renewed encounter.
