      Art Description:

      In 2018 I was commissioned by a rocket engineer's wife to paint a gift for her husband Maxim. The satellites he was designing/deploying had a pumpkin like balloon form. She had seen similar formal strategies in my work and gave this brief as the criteria as a launching point. I made 6 paintings for her from which to choose. This is one of them.
