Art Description:
Large scale canvas of densely layered heavily impastoed oil. Gestures and patterns of dots and stripes integrate and disintegrate as odd characters crowd and perambulate. Hot oranges and pinks contrast aqua greens and blues on a colorfield drilled deep in chocolate brown, Not drippy or splashy like Jackson Pollock but his 'overall' compositions come to mind. It is a field of energy as also found in Jean Dubuffet and Rubens.
