The spirit of a woman, long deceased, returns to this river, shaded by a palm glade, to bathe and bask in her youthful memory of the place. She is submerged in and distorted by the moving water. Refractions and reflections of both the real place and her reconstructed perception of it fracture and fragment the scene in opalescent geometry. She thinks she's here to stay but we see right through her. Bather in a Palm Glade can be sold as a package price/pendant set with its companion piece The Greenhouse also available through Artonique. See alternative photo of a conjectured view of the two together.
