This is from a series of minimal monochromatic meditations on speed painting. Canvas is stapled to a wall and painted rapidly in a single hue in a single session of adding and subtracting oil paint. An exercise in improvisation to contrast the patient process of planning and crafting paintings over many sessions. Other examples in my Artonique portfolio "Impossible to Measure or Calculate" and "Blaxploitation Nation.
Medium Used: Oil and acrylic on canvas
