Art Description:
Simultaneously engaging Pop Art's thesis on ideas about Art about Art and consumerism as culture with memories of childhood. The iconic glue bottle, a kind of cone headed figure, evokes recollections of the earliest 'art supplies'. The purity of the white, the candy corn orange of the lid and the rounded shoulders and hips of the bottle are all stuck in my memory. I've painted several versions. This is the largest.
Medium Used: Oil on Canvas
